Cecil Henry Stanonik

New Waterford-April 25, 2007-Cecil Henry Stanonik, age 88, of 1262 Beard Road died at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday in the St. Elizabeth Health Center.

He was born May 16, 1918 in East Palestine, son of Cecil and Martha Macek Stanonik.

Cecil had lived in area all his life and was a member of the New Springfield Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Mr. Stanonik had been a boring mill Operator for NRM Corporation in Columbiana and Leetonia for over 20 years retiring in January 1981.

A brother Vernon Stanonik preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Alma Virginia Zohnd whom he married April 27, 1942; a sister Mrs. June Martha Pine and a brother Leland R. Stanonik both of New Waterford; ten nieces and nephews; 19 great nieces and nephews; and five great great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, New Springfield with Vernon Hughes officiating.
