Cecil P. Campbell

Columbiana- Cecil P. Campbell, age 72, of Columbiana, died on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Salem Regional Medical Center.

He was born on February 12, 1944 in Montreal, Canada, one of six children to the late Duncan and Mary White Campbell.

Cecil was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Columbiana. He enjoyed traveling and genealogy. Mostly, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by a daughter, Margret Campbell of Norway; two sons, Matthew (Kristin) of Boardman and Shawn (Shannon) Campbell of Winston-Salem, NC. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Cathleen, Aden, Shane and Stella Campbell.

Cecil was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Fields Campbell.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Christopher Cicero officiating.
