Caroline A. Shultz

Leetonia, OH-Caroline A. Shultz, 90, of Oak Street, died at 3:45 pm Sunday, January 13, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Shultz was born January 22, 1922 in Leetonia, a daughter of Joseph and Anna Fiucci DiPanfilo and had lived in this area all of her life.

Caroline worked for the A&P Store in Leetonia and had also worked for Franklin Furniture in Columbiana. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia.

Her husband, Herbert A. Shultz, whom she married June 28, 1941, died February 3, 2002.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Jones of Leetonia; her son, Dr. Herb Shultz of Salem; a sister, Mary (James) Altomare of San Diego, CA; two brothers, Daniel (Alice) DiPanfilo of Leetonia and Joseph DiPanfilo of Columbiana; five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. No calling hours are being observed.
