Carol Jean Starkey

Niles- Carol Jean Starkey, age 70, of Niles, died on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren. She was born on May 6, 1948 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Thomas and Jean Scott Green. Carol was a homemaker and had been a member of the former Columbiana County Chapter #428 Order of the Eastern Star. She had been living at the Manor at Autumn Hills in Niles and was attending church at Pleasant Valley Church in Niles. Carol enjoyed traveling, flower gardening and shopping, but mostly, she loved her horse "Bargain". She is survived by her daughter, Penny (Brian) Mulichak of Girard; her grandson, Luke Mulichak; two brothers, John Green of New Middletown, and Tom (Terri) Green of New Middletown; a sister-in-law, Luann Green of Oklahoma, and many nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Robert Green. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Church, Niles. Memorial services will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Sawtelle officiating. Burial will be at East Carmel Cemetery, Rogers.
