Carol Ann Kleinknecht

Carol Kleinknecht, age 77, of Leetonia, died on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Alliance Community Hospital, Alliance.

She was born on July 28, 1948, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late LeRoy and Emily Bortmas Yeager.

Carol had worked as a secretary for Tiffany Breast Care Center and was a member of the Washington VFW Post # 5532. She sold Avon for 26 years and volunteered as a 4H instructor. Carol loved attending the Canfield Fair, shopping and riding 4 wheelers. She also enjoyed spending time at the family cabin I West Virginia. Mostly, Carol loved her family and her beloved animals.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Kleinknecht on July 31, 2023.

Carol is survived by a son, Kenneth (Hope) Kleinknecht; daughter, Julie Clark of Salem; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Tom Clark.

Per her wishes, no services will be held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
