Carol Jean Howell
Negley, OH-September 23, 2011- Carol Jean Howell, 73, of Negley, died at 11:03 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Boardman Campus following a short illness.
Mrs. Howell was born March 22, 1938 in Negley, a daughter of Alvin and Susan Rosenbaum Barr and had lived in this area all of her life.
Carol was a waitress for 7 & 14 Family Restaurant for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Forrest B. Howell, Sr., whom she married September 14, 1984; two step-sons, Terry Howell of Springs, TX and Forrest (Liz) Howell, Jr. Conroe, TX; two sisters, Mary Belle (Jack) Guy of Columbiana and Sally (Don) Sebecic of Beaver Falls, PA; and a brother, Edward (Sue) Barr of East Palestine.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine with Mr. Richard Lewandoski, Minister of Fredericktown Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday at the funeral home.
