Carla Mae Wallace

Columbiana, OH- Carla Mae Wallace, age 52, of Columbiana, died on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from an extended illness at her residence.

She was born on August 21, 1961 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Richard Perry Anderson and the late Dorothy Ann Moore Anderson.

Carla graduated from the Hannah E. Mullins School of Practical Nursing and had worked for 20 years as an L.P.N. for the V.A. Out Patient facility, Ohio Dept. of Mental Health and the East Liverpool E.R.

Carla had many different interests, but she will best be remembered as a woman who loved her family and enjoyed spending her time with them.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Wallace whom she married on June 3, 2003; two sons, Richard A. Whitfield of Canfield and Stephen T. Whitfield of Columbiana; a sister, Lori Anderson Hammer of Plano, TX and two brothers, Skip Anderson of Lisbon and Chad Knapp of Columbiana.

Carla was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Dwight Anderson.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 2PM - 4PM at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home in Columbiana.

Services will be held on Sunday at 4PM at the funeral home with Pastor John E. Hersh officiating.
