Bonnie Lou Rankin Thomas went to be with her Lord on June 1, 2004 at 11:22 p.m. Tuesday.

She was born July 22, 1942 in Salem, daughter of the David B and Mary Louise Walker Rankin.

The wife of the late Harry Thomas, she was one of eleven children, preceded in death by her husband, her parents and brother George.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by three children, Mrs. Jeff (Tina) Reynolds, Mr. Kenneth Thomas, and Miss Victoria (Tori) Thomas and three grandchildren, Miss Cheryl McCall, Miss Chelsie McCall and Mr. Shawn Reynolds. Bonnie is also survived by five sisters Mrs. Donald (Carol) Boggs, East Palestine; Mrs. John (Phylis) Chestnut, Hanoverton; Mrs. Danny (Janet) Culver, Poland; Mrs. George (Beverly) DuBina, Boardman; and Ms. Christine Young, Poland; four brothers David (Sharon) Rankin, New Waterford; Richard (Peg) Rankin, Columbiana; Gregg (Sue) Rankin, Charleston, South Carolina; and Terry (Kim) Rankin, New Waterford; and numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

She was an active long time member of New Waterford United Methodist Church. Bonnie was known for her love of dancing.

Bonnie co-owned and managed Custom Floor Covering for 19 years and recently until her illness, owned and managed Peppers CafAC. in New Waterford, which was her life dream. She also catered many parties last year with her sister Carol.

Calling hours will be on Friday June 4, 2004 from 6 to 8 at the Warrick Kummer Funeral Home in Columbiana and one hour prior to the service on Saturday in the church. Pastor Ken Rambo will officiate at 10:30 a.m.
