Blanche M. Weikart

Leetonia - August 28, 2005 - Blanche M. Weikart, age 85, 343 Pearl Street, died at 12:54 a.m. Sunday at her home following a short illness.

Mrs. Weikart was born July 31, 1920 in Burgettstown, PA, a daughter of William L. and Saloma H. Vincent Boyles and had lived in Leetonia since 1942, coming from Lisbon.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Leetonia.

Her husband, George D. Weikart, whom she married February 22, 1942 died August 12, 1997.

She is survived by three sons, G. Roger Weikart of Salem, Randall Weikart of Leetonia, and Brett Weikart, of the home; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A sister, Ruth Layman and two brothers, Lee Boyles and Frank Boyles are also deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Pastor Cheryl Vanatsky officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
