Columbiana - Bill Gouldsberry, 51, of 21 Howard Street, died at 2:50 am Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic.
Bill was born February 17, 1960 in Salem, a son of the late James J. and Phyllis Bayer Gouldsberry, and had lived in this area all of his life.
He was a graduate of Lisbon High School and was employed by the Ohio Department of Transportation. Prior to that, he had worked as a supervisor for many years for a local company. Bill enjoyed carpentry and remodeling and loved going to auctions.
He is survived by his wife, the former Lorri L. Miner, whom he married September 30, 1978; two daughters, Megan (Michael) Bettura of Columbiana and Lisa (Frank) Buckley of Sanford, FL; a sister, Alice (Claude White) Gouldsberry of Elyria; two brothers, James "Joe" (Debbie) Gouldsberry of Salem and David Gouldsberry of Columbiana; four grandchildren, Baylie Bettura, Addyson Bettura, Roclen Bettura, and Parker Buckely; his mother and father in law, Charles and Paula Miner of The Villages, FL; two brothers in law, Barry (Lisa) Miner of Columbiana and Steven (Chrissy) Miner of Warner Robins, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. Monday.
If friends desire, material tributes may be made to either the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Brick Restoration Fund or the Salem Area Visiting Nurse Association.
