Beverly P. Adair

Columbiana - Beverly Paula Adair, 86, of 117 East Park Avenue, died at 2:55 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Salem Community Hospital.

Mrs. Adair was born July 16, 1925 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Carl and Hilda Lofgren and had lived here since 1977, coming from Chicago.

She had owned and operated Main Street Antiques since 1982. She was a member of the Columbiana Historical Society, the Columbiana Chamber of Commerce and the Columbiana Business and Professional Women's Association.

Her husband, David Adair, whom she married October 27, 1951 died Sept. 11, 1992. She is survived by Brian (Sherene) Adair of Columbiana and David (Vickie) Adair of Cincinnati; three grandchildren, Brittany Adair, Trevor Adair, and Kaitlyn Adair; and four great grandchildren, Alex, Caleb, Zachary, and Jacob.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday. Memorial tributes may be made to the American Heart Association.
