Betty J. Waddell

Winter Haven, FL, February 9, 2004, Betty J. Waddell, age 82, formerly of East Palestine, died Monday evening in Winter Haven.

Mrs. Waddell was born November 18, 1921 in Columbiana, a daughter of L. Paul and Martha W. Riffle Feezel. She had moved to Lake Wales, FL in 1957 from Ohio; moved to Maggie Valley, NC in 1979 and returned to the Winter Haven area in 1995.

She was a homemaker and was of the Presbyterian Faith. She had been a volunteer for Haywood County Hospital in Waynesville, NC.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy J. Grable of Winter Haven, FL; a son, James Ross Jeffrey of Lynn Haven, FL; a stepson, Bill Drasdo of Lake Wales, FL and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine. Burial will follow in East Carmel Cemetery, Rogers.

Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services on Friday.
