Warren-Betty L. Parker, 92 years old, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Hospice House, Poland.
She was born on November 30, 1932, in East Palestine, the daughter of the late Archie and Lotys Davis Nichols.
Betty was a member of Believers Christian Church in Warren and had been employed previously at the Warren Telephone Co, and retired from Bank One.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, teaching them to swim and drive as well as sleep overs when they were little. She enjoyed her travels to The Biltmore, Disney World, and Hawaii with her daughters. She also cherished her Friday Lunches at Panera with all her friends from Global Fitness.
Betty is survived by three daughters, Leanne Russell (Sid) of Alabama, Carol Ciortan (James) of Champion, and Wendie Lather (Howard) of Champion; a sister, Janet Lanterman of Leetonia; ten grandchildren, Beth Humor (Andy), Mark Lozner (Ashley), Doug Lozner, Kelly Graham (Tim Burris), Jim Ciortan (Shannon), Jarah Lather (Ron Bachna), Jendi Lather (Aaron Osborne), Julie Lather (Nathan Waid), Trista Gibson (Lee), and Shana Edmond (JJ); twelve great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Nichols.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the 2nd Floor Assisted Living Staff at Howland Shepherd of the Valley for all the loving care Betty received.
In lieu of flowers or monetary contributions, please take a friend or grandchild to lunch or visit someone in a nursing home to make memories.
Per her wishes, private family services will be held at Glenview Cemetery in East Palestine.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
