Betty Lou Hinten

Betty Lou Hinten, age 71, of 20 Woods Blvd., died at 12:31 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Youngstown.

Mrs. Hinten was born February 10, 1936 in Salem, a daughter of the late Harry and Alice Stouffer Wilkinson. She had returned to Leetonia in February 2006 from Georgetown, GA where she had resided ten years. She had owned and operated Hinten Printing for many years, and later was a sales clerk at Morgan's Drug Store, Lisbon.

Her husband, Glenn R. Hinten, whom she married April 1, 1956 died November 12, 2006.

She is survived by a son, Alan W. (Diane) Hinten of Leetonia; a grandson, Michael Alan (Kathryn) Hinten of Alliance; a great grandson, Wesley Alan Hinten; a sister, Virginia Davis of Columbiana; and a brother, Warren Wilkinson of Columbiana.

A brother Ralph Wilkinson is also deceased.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Washingtonville.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
