Betty Henderson
Salem - Betty Henderson, 89, passed away Wednesday evening, February 10, 2016 at Circle of Care in Salem.
Mrs. Henderson was born June 26, 1926 in Athens County, a daughter of the late John W. and Mary Ballingsly O'Neal and had lived in Leetonia coming from the Cleveland area.
She had been a sales clerk for the Uncle Bill's Store in Cleveland and was also a homemaker.
Her husband, Robert L. Henderson, whom she married June 22, 1946 died December 18, 1999.
She is survived by four daughters, Lynn McGreevy of New Springfield, Patricia (Joseph) Stefanik of Sheffield Lake, Tracey (Larry) Dean and Sherry (William) Shultz both of Salem; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Henderson, a granddaughter and a great grandson.
Private services were held at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana. Burial followed in East Carmel Cemetery, Rogers.
