Bette Irene Gosney
Columbiana - Bette Irene Gosney, age 93, of Columbiana, died on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana.
She was born on January 6, 1922 in Simons, OH, the daughter of the late Harley and Bertha Gravatt Mullen.
Bette was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Columbiana and was a graduate of Youngstown State University. She had worked as the office manager for Columbiana Cadillac-Buick-Chevrolet for many years and enjoyed reading. Mostly, she enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca (Roy) Hively of New Waterford; nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Bette was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Mitchell; a son, Fred Gosney and a brother, Lawrence "Eugene" Mullen.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Burial will be at the Columbiana Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
