Bertha M. Burson

Rogers March 22, 2005 -Bertha M. Burson, age 95, of 6738 Millrock Road died at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday in the Parkside Health Care Center.

She was born Oct. 26, 1909 in Holmes County, daughter of John and Margueritha Burkhart Zuercher.

Mrs. Burson had lived in Rogers since 1933 coming from Holmes County OH.

She had been a Secretary for the Lake Tomahawk Association and several local insurance companies.

Mrs. Burson was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ at Dover and attended Rogers United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death August 31, 1957 by her husband, Paul J. Burson whom she married November 20, 1931.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Doris) Klamm of Cleveland, Mrs. Kenneth (Barbara) May of New Springfield and Janice Glover of Rogers; a son, John 'Jack' Burson of Rogers; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren,

A sister, Rose Lang; three brothers, John, George and Oscar Burkhart and a grandson preceded her in death.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with Pastor Chick Chanay officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carmel Cemetery.

Friends may call 7-9 Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
