Barbara Murray
East Palestine- Barbara Jean Huff- Murray, age 70, of East Palestine, died on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Salem Regional Medical Center from a short illness.
She was born on September 26, 1944, in Salem, a daughter of the late Harold and Betty Crowl Cooper.
Barbara was a lifetime area resident and had worked as a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Duane Murray whom she married on December 2, 1996; two daughters, Elizabeth (Eric) Horner of East Palestine and Kathyann (Greg) Huff of East Palestine; step son, Charles (Beverly) Huff of Columbiana, three sisters, Bonnie (Richard) Forney of Columbiana, Beverly (Charles) Huff of Columbiana and Beth Jackson of Delaware, OH; four brothers, Robert (Rochelle) Cooper of Austintown, William Cooper of Wampum, PA, Barry Cooper of East Palestine and Bernard (Carol) Cooper of East Liverpool. Also surviving is a grandson, Scott Vankirk, three granddaughters, Kateland, Haley and Amber Huff and two great granddaughters, Kaylie and Madison McMillan.
Barbara was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles E. Huff; sister, Becky Wolfgang and by a grandson, Zachary Vankirk.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
