Barbara A. Eskay
Leetonia - March 9, 2007 - Barbara A. Eskay, 84, of 348 Walnut Street, died at 12:45 a.m. Friday at the St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center, Columbiana.
Mrs. Eskay was born December 2, 1921 in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Mary Stadahar Pershin and had lived here since 1956, coming from Youngstown.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Eskay, whom she married April 12, 1956; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Lynn) Popa of Salem; a son, Lawrence Eskay of Leetonia and one grandson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Reverend Thomas Eisweirth officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia, from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday.
