Ashford Donald Quinn, Jr

Columbiana - August 20, 2004 - Ashford Donald Quinn, Jr., age 83 of 1229 Columbiana-Lisbon Road, died at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center, Columbiana.

Mr. Quinn, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was born February 22, 1921 in Canfield, a son of Ashford Donald and Lillian Mae Lewis Quinn Sr. and had lived in Columbiana since 1993, coming from Youngstown.

He had been employed in real estate and automobile sales for over 50 years for various firms in the area. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Columbiana where he had served as deacon. He was also a member of Sulgrave Lodge #696 F. & A. M. of Poland.

He is survived by his wife, the former Irene H. Rodenbaugh, whom he married November 17, 1940; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald L. (Donna M.) Cannon of Boardman and Mrs. James (Patricia A.) Bettura, Sr. of Columbiana; a son, Donald A. (Mary) Quinn, Sr. of Berlin Center; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home, Columbiana, with the Rev. Dr. Robert McCreight officiating. Entombment will follow in Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where Sulgrave Lodge will conduct Masonic Services at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
