Annetta Jane Selway
Washingtonville-Annetta Jane Selway, 87, formerly of Maple St. in Washingtonville, passed away Saturday morning, April 30, 2016 at Circle of Care in Salem.
Annetta was born July 4, 1928 in Washingtonville, a daughter of the late John and Maude Feicht Smith and had lived in this area all of her life.
She was a homemaker and member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. Annetta loved rollerskating. She wrote beautiful poetry and loved baking cookies. She also loved spending time with her family and babysat for many children.
Her husband, Earl B. Selway, whom she married January 19, 1948, died March 31, 2000.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Holisky of Columbiana; three sons, Tom (Mary) Selway and Randy (Cathy) Selway all of Leetonia and Brad Selway of Salem; six grandchildren, Mallory, Aaron, Heather, Mindi, Angie and Joshua; and five great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patty Ann Selway, a son, Edwin Selway, a sister, Jeanette Kyser, three brothers, Howard "Hab", John and James Smith and two step siblings.
Private memorial services are being observed. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
