Anna Hostetter

Columbiana - Anna Nenadic Hostetter, 89, of Columbiana, passed away peacefully at the Gulfside Regional Hospice Center, Zephyrhills, FL on Thursday, October 25, 2012.

Anna was born December 18, 1922 in West Point, OH, a daughter of John and Mary Kolesar Krachko, moving to Struthers as a child where she graduated in 1941 from Struthers High School.

She was trained and employed as a retoucher by Abey Studio and worked for several other photographers in the Youngstown area until 1969.

Her husband, Emil "Mitch" Nenadic, whom she married in 1946 died in 1966. After her husband died, Anna became an avid golfer and dancer. Going to ballroom dances is where she met her second husband, Glenn Hostetter whom she married in 1969. Anna enjoyed golfing, giving to others, crocheting and dancing. She was a Christian by faith and truly a good woman; always with a smile on her face.

Besides her first husband, she was preceded in death by her second husband; a son, Myron Nenadic; and three sisters, Mary Lynn, Helen Chizmar, and Regina Shuluga. She is survived by two daughters, Norma (Bill) James of Columbiana, with whom she made her home and Martha (Charles) Jones of New Waterford; a son, Mel (Cindy) Nenadic of Columbiana; a sister, Katherine (Charles) Brooker of Stuart, FL; a brother, John Kracko of Poland; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine with Mr. Robert Helbeck, Minister officiating. Burial will be in New Waterford Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
