Anna Elizabeth Firestone

Leetonia - Anna Elizabeth Firestone, 86, of 41548 Kelly Park Road, died at 1:25 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana.

Mrs. Firestone was born October 18, 1925 in Leetonia, a daughter of the late Joe and Margaret Luzer Kozjan and had lived in this area all of her life.

She had been employed at the former Russell Company, Columbiana and also at the Fred Ward Farm for several years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia.

Her husband, Richard W. Firestone, whom she married May 29, 1956 died April 16, 1998.

She is survived by two sons, Richard W. "Rick" Firestone, Jr. of Columbiana and David J. Firestone of Leetonia; and a sister, Margaret Driscoll of Leetonia.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Switzer and two brothers, Rudy Kozjan and Joe Kozjan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana. Burial will follow in Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where Sister Joan Franklin will lead a Prayer Service at 3:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Association.
