Ann Decaria

Columbiana, OH-May 13, 2007-Ann DeCaria, age 87, died at 9:53 a.m. Sunday at Northside Medical Center, Youngstown, OH.

Mrs. DeCaria was born September 14, 1919 in Lowellville, OH a daughter of Louis and Theresa Marcella Manifrang and had lived in Columbiana the past 10 years, formerly of Ellwood City, PA.

She was a nurse's aide for many years at Trumbull Memorial Hospital retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia, OH.

Her husband, Samuel J. DeCaria, Sr., whom she married March 9, 1943, died October 26, 1961.

Ann is survived by a daughter, Maureen DeCaria of New Castle, PA; two sons, Samuel (Marilyn) De Caria, Jr. of Columbiana, OH and Richard (Paula) DeCaria of Warren, OH; five sisters, Celia Lombardi of Philadelphia, PA, Angeline (Dominic) Micco of Edinburg, PA, Camilia (Patsy) Piccirillo of New Castle, PA, June Hendricks of Salem, OH and Elsie (Russell) Gould of Kennewick, WA; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Two sisters, Mary Etta Kana and Fannye Miller and a brother, Andrew Manifrang are also deceased.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown, OH with the Reverend Edward Brienz officiating. Burial will be in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Ellwood City, PA. Friends will be received from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the cathedral.
