Angela Rose Batton

North Miami, FL - October 4, 2005 - Angela Rose Batton, 99, of 1230 NE 139th Street, formerly of Leetonia, died Tuesday evening at the Hampton Court Nursing Home, North Miami Beach, FL.

Mrs. Batton was born December 6, 1905 in Leetonia, OH, a daughter of Paul and Rose Stalinio Rance and had lived in Florida for 55 years, coming from Leetonia. She had been employed as a decorator at the former Salem China, Salem for 35 years. She had been a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia.

Her husband, Ralph B. Batton, whom she married June 21, 1942 died January 21, 1972.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Donna) Queen of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a son, Francis Macry of Columbiana; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Summers of Leetonia and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Two sisters, Minnie Dalessandro and Mary Schonhut and six brothers, George Rance, William Rance, James Rance, Joseph Rance, Paul Rance and Francis Rance are also deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel, Leetonia, with the Reverend Edward Brienz officiating. There are no calling hours.

The Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia was in charge of arrangements.
