Alexander James Webber

Columbiana – Alex Webber, 18, of Columbiana, died suddenly Thursday morning at his home of an apparent cerebral aneurysm.

Alex was born February 6, 1996 in Youngstown, a son of James H. and Shelley L. Shaffer Webber and had lived in this area all of his life. He was a 2014 graduate of Columbiana High School and the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center with certification in information technology. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Columbiana.

He is survived by his mother, Shelley L. (Nicholas) Davies of Austintown; his father, James H. (Anita) Webber, Jr. of Columbiana; a sister, Ashley N. Webber of Columbiana; a half sister, Olivia G. Davies of Austintown; two step sisters, Paige C. Harris of Berea, OH and Ashlyn V. Harris of Columbiana; and his paternal grandmother, Marlene Webber.

Alex was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Cindy Shaffer and his paternal grandfather, James H. Webber, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2014 at the First Christian Church of Columbiana, with John Reed, Minister, Drew Bromm, Youth Minister, and Pastor Gary Gray officiating.

Friends may call at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday and at church one hour prior to the services on Monday.
