Aleta I. Samora

New Waterford- Aleta I. Samora, age 95, of New Waterford, died on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana.

She was born on June 21, 1918, in East Palestine, the daughter of the late Paul Shinn and the late Inez Smith Shinn.

Aleta was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy during WWII. She was homemaker and had attended the First Church of Christ in East Palestine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Joseph Samora. Aleta is survived by a daughter, Pattie Keslar of Columbiana and by two sons, Paul Samora of Mineral Ridge and Victor Samora of Hanoverton.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Per her wishes, no services will be held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home in East Palestine.
