Albert H. Kraus Jr

East Palestine- Albert H. Kraus Jr., age 90, of East Palestine, died on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana.

He was born on December 23, 1925 in East Palestine, a son of the late Albert H. Sr. and Hilda E. McLauglin Kraus.

Albert was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during WWII and had worked at Adamson Tank in East Palestine.

He is survived by two sons, Steve Kraus of East Palestine, and Paul Kraus of East Palestine; four sisters, Julia Moore of Bristol, VA., Helen Coblentz of East Palestine, June McGahan of St. Petersburg, FL., and Faye Knight of Gainesville, FL.

Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Veillion Kraus, a sister, Mary Kraus, and a brother, Harry Kraus.

Per his wishes, no services will be held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
