Agnes Carolyn Webber

New Waterford - September 23, 2006 - Agnes Carolyn Webber, age 81, of New Waterford, died at 12:57 a.m. Saturday at the Salem Community Hospital.

Mrs. Webber was born May 29, 1925 in Negley, a daughter of John S. and Mabel Steyer Shultz and had lived on Millrock Road 46 years. She was a 1943 graduate of the East Palestine High School.

She was a good wife, mother and grandmother and was an active member of the East Fairfield United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Omar L. Webber, whom she married February 22, 1943 died May 17, 1994. She was also preceded in death by a son, Lester Webber, four sisters and one brother.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John (Carolyn) Scheel of Columbiana; two sons, Paul Webber of New Waterford and Dale (Marcia) Webber of Leetonia; a sister, Gladyce Prinkey-Huff of Aliquippa, PA; and five grandchildren whom she dearly loved, Jeremy Webber, Joel (Mandy) Webber, Jared (Juli) Scheel, Evan Scheel, and Aaron Scheel.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the East Fairfield United Methodist Church with the Reverend Michael Namy officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home, Columbiana from 7-9 p.m. on Monday and at the church one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.

Mrs. Webber asked that any contributions to celebrate her life be presented to the East Fairfield United Methodist Church.
