Agnes C. Raniolo
East Palestine - October 27, 2005 - Agnes C. Raniolo, age 100, of 285 Park Avenue, died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday at the Calcutta Health Care Center following a long illness.
Mrs. Raniolo was born July 21, 1905 in Mexico, Maine, a daughter of Walter and Lidia Meunier Sawyer and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a homemaker.
Her husband, Samuel G. Raniolo, whom she married in 1922 died December 24, 1980.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frances Clymire of East Palestine; two sons, Joseph Raniolo of East Palestine and Walter J. Raniolo of Wellsville; a sister, Frances Provost of Gouverneur, NY; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A son, George S. Raniolo, two brothers and two sisters are also deceased.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine with the Reverend Agnes Jochim officiating. Burial will follow in Glenview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday.
