Agnes Mary Pegg
Columbiana, February 11, 2004, Agnes Mary Pegg, age 93, of 423 Fairfield Avenue, died at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday at the Parkside Health Care Center of infirmities.
Mrs. Pegg was born November 26, 1910 in Leetonia, a daughter of Thomas B. and Norma I. Glaser Cope and had lived in the Columbiana County area all of her life.
She had been employed as a licensed practical nurse at the Salem Community Hospital for 23 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member of the Winona Friends Church, Winona.
Her husband, Emerson Pegg, died July 23, 1979.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Barbara A.) Sell of Lisbon; a son, Ronald (Nana) Bailey of Jeromesville, OH; a sister, Mrs. Catherine Weikart of West Liberty, OH; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
A daughter, Kathryn Hawthorne; two sons, Jerry Bailey and Carl Bailey; and a brother, Roland Cope is also deceased.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Pastor Kari Lankford of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating.
Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
