Agatha D. Farr

Niles, OH- Agatha D. Farr, age 79, of Niles, died on Friday, September 6, 2013 at St. Joseph Health Center.

She was born on November 22, 1933 in Cassidy, WV, a daughter of the late William and Agatha Knotts Kellar.

Agatha had worked as a nurse's aide for over 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed bingo, puzzles and making baby blankets and her animals. Most of all, she enjoyed taking care of her family.

Her husband, William R. Farr, whom she married on October 3, 1954, preceded her in death on November 2, 1980.

She is survived by two sons, William (Rosamary) Farr of Garrettsville and Rick (Cynthia) Farr of Leavittsburg; daughter, Mary (Jack) Small of Johnston; two brothers, Billy (Connie) Kellar of Valley Bend, WV and Charles (Helen) Kellar of Mecca. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Sue Farr, a brother, Delbert, two sisters, Eva and Mary and by a granddaughter, Kayla Farr.

Per her wishes, private family services will be held at a later date.

Burial will be in the West Mecca Twp. Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Agatha's memory to the Akron Children's Hospital, 1 Perkins Sq., Akron, OH 44308.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home in Leetonia.
