Adena J. Robertson

North Canton - December 31, 2008 - Adena J. Robertson, 81, of North Canton, formerly of East Palestine, died Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Essex of Salem III.

Mrs. Robertson was born May 15, 1927 in Sebring, OH, a daughter of the late William Burdette and Frances Olive Pitzer Mackall and had lived in Stark County 40 years, coming from East Palestine.

She had been employed as a teacher for the Canton City Schools for 30 years. She was a graduate of Mount Union College, Alliance and a member of the Ohio Education Association and the National Education Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Robertson in 1968 and three brothers, Robert B. Mackall, Richard P. Mackall, and Donald C. Mackall.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Private interment was in the Columbiana Cemetery, Columbiana, Ohio. Funeral arrangements were made by the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
