Columbiana- Ethel Marie Llewellyn, age 94, of Columbiana, died on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana.

She was born on May 3, 1921, in Washingtonville, a daughter of the late Walter H. and Helen Marie Rohrer Warner.

Ethel had worked as a teacher’s aide for Leetonia Schools. She was a member of the Robbins United Methodist Church in Washingtonville and was a fifty year member of the Salem Chapter #334 Order of the East Star and previously the former Leetonia Chapter of the Eastern Star.

Her husband, Arden H. Llewellyn, whom she married on August 2, 1943, preceded her in death on June 11, 1989.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen Llewellyn of Columbiana; a son, Kenneth (Melissa) Llewellyn of Youngstown and a sister, Janice Glass of Washingtonville. Also surviving are five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Ethel was preceded in death by a son, Randy Llewellyn; an infant son; two infant daughters; a sister, Ruth Scullion and five brothers, Glenn, Donald, James, Kenneth and Robert Warner.

The family will receive friends this evening, Thursday, July 2, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia where Salem Chapter will conduct Eastern Star Services at 7:45 p.m. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Pastor Stanley Grabill officiating.

Burial will be at the Washingtonville Cemetery.
