New Springfield – David Phillip Dragovich, 55, of Kibler Road, formerly of Campbell, died at 10:45 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2015, at his home.
David was born March 19, 1960 in Youngstown, a son of David and Patricia Gargoline Dragovich and had lived in this area all of his life.
He had been employed as an EDI Analyst for Dick’s Sporting Goods the past 15 years. He enjoyed archery, hunting, science fiction, music, and playing his guitar.
Besides his mother Patricia, of Campbell, who lovingly helped care for David throughout his illness and tirelessly remained at his side during his final days, he is survived by his wife, the former, Jamie Chrisko; two daughters, Melissa (Andy) Britton of Kent and Lea Dragovich of Columbus; a son, Joshua Dragovich of New Springfield; two grandchildren, Kaya and Beau Britton; four brothers, Daniel Dragovich of Campbell, Donald (Christine) Dragovich of Poland, Joseph (Sharon) Dragovich of Canfield, and Jeffrey (Amy) Dragovich of Boardman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2015, at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone that helped support David during his illness; especially those that have volunteered their time to work on the house, ensuring that the renovation project that David started before his illness, gets completed.
