Rosalind "Roz" Anne (Clarke) Hopfenziz

Leetonia- Rosalind “Roz” Anne Hopfenziz, age 72, of Leetonia, died on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Salem Regional Medical Center.

She was born on October 2, 1946 in Montreal, Canada, a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Ruby Jasper Clarke.

Rosalind was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Leetonia.  She loved spending time with her family and friends and traveling with her husband Frank.  Mostly, Roz loved being a grandmother and always enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities and sporting events.

She is survived by her husband, Frank W. Hopfenziz, whom she married on July 12, 1968; two sons, Mark T. (Malinda) Hopfenziz of Columbia, MO, and Michael L. (Melissa) Hopfenziz of Columbiana; brother, David (Trudy) Clarke of Montreal, Canada and a sister, Judy (Pat) Martin of Calgary Alberta, Canada.  Also surviving are six grandchildren, Amanda (Mark Chapman) Shepard, Bobby and Lee Burnip, Matthew (Fiancé, Danyelle McMaster) Hopfenziz and Olivia and Erik Hopfenziz, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  and again on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Cyndi Midlick officiating.
