Jean V. Altman, age 76 of Leetonia, formerly of Beaver Falls, PA., passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at her residence.
She was born on August 13, 1942 in Rochester, PA., the daughter of the late Samuel and Berniece Wendt Swager and became the loving wife of James “Bo” Altman.
Jean spent most of her days working as a caregiver and continued to care for her family and those around her. She will be remembered as a very generous and loving woman.
She is survived by her children, Joan (Randy) McClish of Leetonia, OH., and Kelly (Thomas) Applequist of Cranberry, Pa; son in-law, Jon Boggs of Youngstown, OH; nine grandchildren, Tim (Crystal) Rump, Erica Rump, Tony (Autumn) Rump, Erin (Jerry) Gordon, Benjamin (Emily) Applequist, Alyssa (Chris) Leasure, Kyle, Damian and Sabrina Altman, and by six great grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, James “Bo” Altman; two sons, Randy and Ricky Altman, and by a great granddaughter, Talon Dunberger.
Per her request, no services will be held at this time. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Burial will be at the Beaver Cemetery, Beaver, PA.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia, OH.
