Glenn Ward Obituary

New Waterford- Glenn Edgar Ward, age 93, of New Waterford, died on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Salem Regional Medical Center.

He was born on October 23, 1924 in Lisbon, a son of the late Clifford and Thelma Low Ward.

Glenn was a veteran of the United States Army having served during WWII.  He was a member of the New Waterford United Methodist Church and had worked at Adamson Tank, East Palestine.

His wife, Edith Garrod Ward, whom he married on February 1, 1947, preceded him in death on August 24, 2016.

He is survived by two sons, Raymond Ward of New Waterford, and Robert Ward of New Waterford; a daughter, Rhonda Pahanish of Leetonia, and a brother, Floyd Ward of Columbiana.  Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.

Glenn was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Moore and a great granddaughter.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the New Waterford United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday evening, May 29, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at the church with Pastor J.P. Snyder and Ken Rambo officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
