Salem – Edna M. Wehr, 81, of Green Beaver Road, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2018.
Mrs. Wehr was born June 20, 1937 in Signal, OH, a daughter of the late Clark and Mildred Stayton Gromley and had lived in the area all of her life. She had worked as a bookkeeper at the former Spatholt’s Hardware in Leetonia and more recently served as cafeteria manager for the South Range School District from 1979 until 2004.
She attended the Columbiana Church of Christ, Columbiana.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph M. Wehr, whom she married June 29, 1958; four sons, Kenneth (Jenny) Wehr of Signal, Larry (Becky) Wehr of North Lima, Ronald (Dawn) Wehr of Columbiana, and Roger (Shellie) Wehr of Salem; two sisters, Joan Riehl of Columbiana and Betty Hall of Fort Collins, CO; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Lois Jones and three brothers-in-law, Elmer Riehl, Jim Jones, and Bob Hall.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Columbiana Church of Christ with Minister Gary Bailey officiating. Interment will be in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2018. Friends may call at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018 and at the church one hour prior to the services on Saturday.
