Columbiana – Donald Burbick, 78, of Columbiana, died, Monday, July 2, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born, May 19, 1940, a son of the late Leon and Kathleen Oesch Burbick.
Donald was a self-employed carpenter for 20 years and worked for D and V Trucking, after retiring he went to work for Hill Crest Excavating part time. Donald was a 50 year member of United Commercial Travelers.
He is survived by his wife, the former, Carol Karnofel, whom he married, August 19, 1965; two daughters, Wendy (Centenius) Billingslea of Phoenix, AZ and Candie Burbick of Leetonia; two sons Greg Burbick of Columbiana and Brad Burbick of Leetonia; Six sisters, Norma Burbick, Margery Shoemaker, Helen Jean Sauerwein, Mary Kay McFall, Carol Dowdle and Maureen Nesselrotte; Six brothers, Robert, Harry, Dale, Ronald, Phillip and Willie Burbick; Three grandchildren, Jasmine Graham of Phoenix, AZ, Collin Naughton of Leetonia and Cory Christopher of Salt Lake City, UT and many nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold, Howard, Charles and Elmer Burbick and a nephew, Jeffrey Burbick.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Pastor Jeffrey Corbett Officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday prior to the services at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Columbiana Cemetery.
