New Waterford – Brian S. Huff, 48, of New Waterford, passed away, Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in the early morning hours at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital after a longtime illness.
Brian was born October 31, 1969, in Cleveland, son of Paul Huff and the late Phyllis Randolph.
He is a veteran, having served seven years in the U.S. Army as a sergeant, traveling to Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He was awarded two commendations and three achievement medals before being honorably discharged due to an injury.
He graduated from Youngstown State University in 2001 with a major in accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He worked as an audit specialist traveling the world, working for many major businesses. His greatest love in life was his family and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He is survived by his father, Paul (Maye) Huff of New Waterford; a sister Carla (Tim Harrison) Green of New Waterford; two nieces, Britney (Wesley) Black of Columbiana and Jade Green of New Waterford; a great niece, Sage Black and a great nephew, Bentley Black.
Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Randolph Huff in 1998; a Sister, Paula Huff in 1967 and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
A private memorial service will be held, at a later date.
