East Palestine-Betty Jean Evans, age 95, of East Palestine, died on Monday, June 11, 2018, Covington Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, East Palestine.
Mrs. Evans was born on May 13, 1923 in Alliance, a daughter of the late Fredrick and Ida Fogel Holzer.
Betty spent much of her life working as a homemaker.
Her husband, Ellsworth H. Evans, whom she married on March 17, 1941, preceded her in death on May 16, 1994.
She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Plecas of Columbiana, Linda Evans-Dennis of Lisbon, and Valerie Musser of New Waterford; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Quetot; four sisters, Eleanor Hull, Patricia Wilkins, Florence Filippini and Janet Cochran; and three brothers, Charles Holzer, Robert Holzer and Willard Holzer.
Private family services where held at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
Burial was at the Achor Cemetery, Negley.
