In Loving Memory of Ashley Leigh Altomare

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ashley Leigh Altomare who passed away in her home on January 18th, 2024, at the age of 38 years old.

Ashley was born on October 3rd,1985 in Salem, Ohio to Rick and Patty Altomare and became the older sister to Nicklaus Altomare eight years later. Ashley graduated from Leetonia high school in 2004. She then continued her education for 3 years at Akron University and then successfully completed the dental assistant program at Choffin Career and Technical Center. Years later, she successfully graduated from New Castle school of trade with her electrical associate degree. For the past 2 and a half years, Ashley worked as an operator at Pennex.

Throughout her life, Ashley extended her giving nature to those she encountered and she had a fierce love and loyal protectiveness for her family and friends. She had one of the most contagious laughs that was infectious to those around her that never failed to come out after one of her many witty comments.

Ashley truly lived in the present moment with a love for life. She was immensely resilient and brave during the most difficult times of life and overcame obstacles that seemed insurmountable. She never lost her strong-will and was a rock of support for her closest friends and family throughout their own hard times.

Ashley’s passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of her family and friends, but her legacy of resilience, giving and loyalty will always live on. We will cherish the memories we were able to share with her and hold her spirit close to our hearts forever.

Ashley is survived by her loving parents, her brother and his wife, and many aunts, uncles and cousins who will cherish her memory. As we say farewell to Ashley in this life, let us find some peace in knowing she has found her eternal resting place with God.

Rest in peace, Ashley. You were loved by so many and will be deeply missed.

Per the family’s wishes, no services will be held.
